There have been numerous successful examples of influencer marketing campaigns that have generated significant results for brands. However, it is important to note that the specific results will vary depending on the brand, the product or service being promoted, and the influencer or influencers involved. Here are a few examples:

  1. Kylie Jenner x Snapchat:

In February 2018, Kylie Jenner tweeted that she was no longer using Snapchat, causing the app’s stock to drop by 7% ($1.3 Billion). Kylie’s tweet was seen as having a significant impact on Snapchat’s shares because she is a highly influential celebrity with a large social media following, and many of her fans take cues from her about what products and platforms to use.

At the time, Snapchat was already facing growing competition from other social media platforms, such as Instagram, and Kylie’s tweet was seen as a further sign of the app’s declining popularity. The drop in shares was a wake-up call for Snapchat, which led to a redesign of the app and other changes aimed at improving the user experience and increasing user engagement.

This demonstrated the power of influencer marketing and the impact that a single influencer can have on a brand.

  2. Dior x Bella Hadid:
In 2017, Bella Hadid became a brand ambassador for Dior and appeared in several advertisements for their beauty line, including their signature scent, J’adore. She also walked the runway for the brand during Paris Fashion Week and appeared in several print campaigns.

The campaign was a success, generating significant engagement and resulting in a reported sales increase for the fragrance.

  3. Nike x Influencer Collaborations:In 2018, Nike partnered with a number of influencers for its “Nothing Beats a Londoner” campaign which was aimed at celebrating the spirit of London and its youth culture. The campaign included a number of high-profile influencer collaborations, including:, British grime artist Skepta, Four-time Olympic gold medalist Mo Farah, British rapper Little Simz and British singer-songwriter Jorja Smith.

By partnering with these influential figures, Nike was able to reach a wider audience and connect with consumers in a more meaningful way.

  4. Fortnite x Ninja:
In 2019, popular video game Fortnite partnered with Twitch streamer and YouTuber Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. Ninja was one of the most popular and influential gamers at the time, and Fortnite was one of the most popular games, so the collaboration was a natural fit.

The campaign between Fortnite and Ninja was centered around Ninja playing and streaming Fortnite on his Twitch and YouTube channels.

The collaboration was successful in increasing the visibility and popularity of both Fortnite and Ninja, as well as driving engagement and interest among their combined audience.

  5. Calvin Klein x Billie Eilish:
In 2019, Calvin Klein partnered with the popular singer-songwriter Billie Eilish. The campaign was part of Calvin Klein’s ongoing efforts to reach younger, trend-setting consumers and connect with them in a meaningful way.

The campaign was successful in generating buzz and interest among Billie Eilish’s large and dedicated fanbase, as well as among younger consumers who were interested in both fashion and music.

In addition to promoting Calvin Klein’s clothing and accessories, the campaign also helped to further cement Billie Eilish’s status as a cultural icon and style influencer.

  6. McDonald’s x TikTok:
In 2020, McDonald’s launched a TikTok campaign featuring popular creators using the platform’s popular dance trends to promote the brand. The collaboration was aimed at promoting McDonald’s menu items and reaching a younger, more tech-savvy audience.

As part of the collaboration, McDonald’s launched several TikTok challenges and campaigns that encouraged users to create and share short, creative videos featuring McDonald’s menu items. The challenges were widely shared and participated in, and helped to generate buzz and interest around the brand. The partnership was successful in reaching a younger and more engaged audience, and helped to increase awareness and interest in McDonald’s menu items.

  7. Airbnb x Instagram:
In 2021, there was a partnership between the home-sharing platform Airbnb and the popular social media platform Instagram,  aimed at promoting Airbnb’s offerings and encouraging users to travel and explore new destinations.

As part of the collaboration, Airbnb launched several Instagram campaigns and initiatives that encouraged users to share their travel experiences and highlight their favorite Airbnb listings. The campaigns were widely shared and participated in, and helped to generate buzz and interest around the brand.

In addition to the Instagram campaigns, Airbnb also worked with a number of influencers and content creators as part of the collaboration, encouraging them to share their travel experiences and promote Airbnb listings. The partnership was successful in reaching a younger and more engaged audience, and helped to increase awareness and interest in Airbnb’s offerings.

It is important to note that these are just a few examples and the results of influencer marketing campaigns can vary greatly. However, they demonstrate the potential impact that influencer marketing can have on a brand’s revenue and overall success.
